The inaugural QMARSEC 2013 took place in Doha, 7 to 8 October 2013, with a far more comprehensive, quality-led and value-driven program, featuring senior and key military and security officials from not only the region, but also from the international arena.

 

Dedicated to understanding the challenges facing the maritime security community, QMARSEC 2013 provided the ideal platform for military leaders, officers and Operations commanders and industry stakeholders to discuss and learn the latest strategies in maritime security operations, deepening and enhancing inter-agency cooperation and collaboration and utilizing the latest surveillance/security technology in the face of increasingly sophisticated transnational maritime threats.

 

This years QMARSEC 2014 will be held from 14 to 15 October 2014 at the Ritz-Carlton in Qatar. The event will create invaluable opportunities for maritime security and defense representatives across the globe and will focus on "Maritime Domain Awareness - The Steps To Maritime Security.”
